Why play and conversation?
The ELLA study explored interactive storytelling with 10 children aged 4–6 over eight days. Researchers reported short-term vocabulary gains and longer responses during the study. It supports the promise of active conversation, but did not establish long-term language or imagination gains.

Who is Minie for?
Families with children aged 3–10. Try Minie on iPhone, iPad or Android, and explore together with your child.
What will my child do?
Listen to stories, talk with Minie, and bring their own ideas into imaginative play. The experience and story selection are still evolving.
How do we get started?
Choose your device above. On iPhone or iPad, install Apple’s free TestFlight app, then open the Minie invitation. On Android, install Hey Minie from Google Play. There’s no website form to fill in first.
Why does iPhone and iPad early access use TestFlight?
TestFlight is Apple’s free app for trying and updating apps before release. Our installation page explains both steps: install TestFlight, then accept the Minie invitation. Android does not need TestFlight.
Do we have to join WhatsApp?
No. Install Minie first, then join our parent community if you’d like setup help, updates or to share feedback. Your WhatsApp number is visible to other group members.
Does Minie use AI?
Yes. AI supports conversations with Minie during stories and imaginative play. We encourage parents to try it alongside their child and share feedback.
What does it cost?
Check the available trial and pricing in the app before choosing a plan. Visiting this website or joining the parent group does not start a subscription.
